this morning, i arrived at a parking place. having to know that the parking area are full(i think?).i took an easy way to park in front of other ppl car and just leave my number there so that they will later will call me if they wanna go out. satisfied. i switch off the car stereo,aircond and lastly the engine. then as usual lowered my rear view mirror to do some touch up..comb my long hair..and tied up here n there..just when i open the door  i stopped upon hearing sound of engine..hmmph..? looking around..im pretty sure theres no other ppl in the cars around me and all cars are dead.so where the sound came from? i decide to stay in the car, close the door and watch around..i look behind n thot that probably there must be someone in that crv behind me, i couldnt see the driver seat coz it was blocked by a pillar. i double checked and very sure that the sound doesnt come from my engine..so that crv probably is leaving..so i wait for awhile thinkin i can take that crv parking slot.(weehuu!). but after awhile that crv still there. i blocked two cars on my right which is a honda and a wira. bored…i finally decide to make my way out and settled with what i currently had since that crv is still not leaving…i open the door, put my feet on the ground and stand up.. and……….shockingly saw a guy in that honda car with a car seat layed down.alone and on the phone! hmmph! what is he doing at this deserted dark corner of parking area with his hp on and why he must answered that call in a car, with that dodgy condition?? bootie call? thank god hes not masturbating! if not i surely proud to be a person who kantoi his act kan!!

ciragan palace is indeed v v beautiful and i always been a fan of tarkan, oppps..i mean turkey. my trip there wouldnt have been complete and will be meaningful if i dont bring this 5 ppl with me.

1. My Mum – hehehe, bawak mak? hehehhee….of course. she my angel, of course i have to bring her. plus i think she gonna need the trip to release tension after taking care of my dad after his accident. rite?….shes gonna keep me sane, and we can chat and reminises our families memories together.

2. Zul – hehe tak brani nak tinggal yg nie koz nanti die majuk and gonan throw tantrums probbaly years if i didnt bring him along.)gurau je . tadelah kalo tak bawak die tak best..tade orang nak buli aku and aku pun tak ada orang nak buli and act silly with. kan kan kan? muachs.

3. Apau – tetap nak bawak apau gi cinie. apau nie sort of my other half and understanding. we both understanding each other. plus hes also into music, party goer and into fun fun thing just like me…

4. Y – hes having a rough time now i think,perhaps this trip will make him forget about monyet. ehehehe

owhhhhhhhh!! i missed last night episode!!! huwaaaaaaaaaaaa

i never really bother about malaysian movie except some exceptional from yasmin ahmad. i always have this mind set that malaysian movie maker make cincai movie.if an average film fan like me can easily detact flaws and distracted by them, what more can a movie expert can say about this local film makers work? nevertheless i support local films whenever i can, esp the one with potential or at least making an effort to improve their film craftmanship rather than sticking to the same ol style,technique and formula which to me rotten and boring.

its a bit of a fresh air when i was introduced by my to watch this movie together with him, with no high expectation, futhermore, this is a film debut by zarina abdullah a US University film grads. ok.

suprisingly for a new comer im very impressed with her work, the detailing, the way she pan her camera, the way she compose and shift scenes almost in smooth transition. I like the car scene when she introduce nasrin character, the way she establish nasrin to the audience. its just very satisfying to grab the reality that zarina has successfully making a connection with me, tru film. from one scene to another, i slowly embracing the way she establish each characters and tell me their stories with almost non cliche typical malay movie style. i, slowly move myself closer to the telly and starting to indulge with chermin….a drama with a slightly horror genre, but to wrap it all its a film focusing on women.

chermin, tells a story about revengeful spirit of an ancestor named mastura(deanna yusuf) possessing her great great grand daughter’s of her husband named nasrin(natasha hudson) in regards to mastura’s revenge from the past that she will kill everyone thats loved by her husband, Hassan. whom sadly never shed some of his love to mastura because he never love her cause he has another lover and she is her cousin(EW!). The evil spirit of mastura kept in a mirror(cermin,or spelled chermin in the past) where mastura has practiced black magic ritual when she was alive.

“wahai cermin yang menbayangkan semangatku..
aku serahkan diriku…serantai kuasa dari langit,sepijak tanah dari bumi…
seterang cahaya dari suria, seredup bulan purnama…
derulah angin…datanglah kepadaku..” 

Mastura evil spirit survived in a mirror particularly one acient mirror owned by mastura herself.and its still “alive” even after the death of mastura after her suicide,and now taking it vengence against nasrin just after nasrin got engaged with yusof (farid kamil). Her supposedly happily ever after tales starting to tear apart after she involved in an accident after having a shocking encounters with mastura evil spirit.(where else?but tru her rear view mirror!)

knowing that she’s no longer as pretty as before and aware that she does not want to burden her fiance to wed an ugly wife, Nasrin broke her engagement tho yusof persistently try to convince her that he accept her just the way she is.

Nasrin’s later not only have to go trough her self battle going through personal/emotional problem but have to fight mastura’s evil spirit trying to possesed and ruin her life to deepest hell.However, with strong support and help from her families and fiance nasrin later manage to win  every battle and free herself from mastura revenge.

I think zarina managed to bring me into her characters in the movie, for example, i really feel sad and pity for mastura at one point almost cry during the final scene when mastura choking yusof while flasback of what has hassan done to her was vividly portrayed on screen. and the music superbly sway my sensitivity when i put myself on mastura’s shoe. Wow. marvelous. great work.

I also love the way she craft the movie with her effort to embeded the mirror..as if its another dimensional of our life. What if theres another life inside the mirror looking at us?Zarina succesfully show that in various scenes with one particular scene when mak siti try to advice yusof to be patient with nasrin’s behaviour. splendid.

the house. are a very beautiful wooden malay house, capturing the mood of orang2 kaya back in old times. this movie definately got soul.

however, i personally think it would be more dramatic if mastura character is a mixed parentage lady who happen to be married off to a malay rich men but neglected by the men. the scale of frustriation of being a beautiful lady but didnt managed to conquers the love of a man is much more pitiful and will be a much more strong points for a having deep hatred frustriation in case of mastura.it wouldve been a more suiting role for deanna yusuf.Futhermore the ever so changing of aku,saya and mastura is not consistent making me abit off track and distracting my concerntration. Natasha hudson however is too mixed to play as hassan and zahrah(hassan 2nd wife)’s seed. plus khatijah tan doesnt fit the look unless nasrin father is a fairer guy. i dunno. but it is some continuity rules that i personally think if we take it into consideration will make chermin a perfect movie.

plus, deanna inconsistence of controlling her accent has making a loop hole in this movie continuity perfectness. sometimes she speak bahasa baku(a correct way to project a malay lady from the era)then sometimes she speak in english sounding bahasa..which some of us here found hilarous.thats why i come out with idea of having mastura character is a mixenglish blood lady.

In short, all of this lackness shall not stop you from understande chermin. transition of 2 different erra with 2 different dimension between reality and fantasy is smoothly done. im not lost, and able to to comprehand every single story that zarina is telling. unlike those suhaimi baba film.

good job zarina. i look forward for your next film release, after yasmin ahmad i think you got a potential to become a great local filmmaker.

ist true that we cant get MC from a doc if we request MC after 10pm?
i need to change my habit of visiting a doctor for a fever at night time(after i regain my strenght and my fever are less feverish) if i need to obtain an MC. seriously i hate doctor who think im faking my illness just to get an MC. what kinda person u think i am? or am i seeing a wrong doctor at a wrong time? no wonder im the only attending patient at the usually full klinik famili @ setiawangsa!

damn u Dr. arizal! next time i will make sure to only make a visit during Dr. Kamariah’s session! unlike you, shes nice and knowledgable!!

make over time! hurray..the gurls finally get a chance to allow tyra team to revamp their dull image and turn it to modelike. thank god, none of the girls cry becoz of getting a haircut. i just tickles me off everytime these type of girls. if they are not ready to be change accordingly then they never gonna be ready for the business. Tyra herself mimics the girls antics by exxagerating drama of girls who are dissapointed after getting a make over.served them right tyra!

the only tears we get this season are from britanny and jael. but they she tears of pain and having to get tru the make over is painful coz they spent hours on chair and the pain on the head esp britanny where she was given a hair weave.ouch!

back in the house, jael got a news from home saying that her close friend died of overdose. devastated and shocked. jael tried to suck it all up with the support from the girls. owww…

the devilish renee this time started fire against britanny. damn renee. if u didnt perform well, stop complaining of others who excell. what a bitch.

the girls later went on a photo shoot with mr jay with candy-ice cream decoration in nude! the girls oblige.except britanny who are bit concern of her parents feedback. other girls just rolled her eyes at britanny.

Putri Vs Ratu
The oweys so chearful putri was on her way to class. she was on phone with Mia talking about novel given by Reza. Mia was at the hospital with Datin Aina. She doing the check up.(i wonder where Mia’s parents are??and why is she living with putri family!?).

A diva perasan cantik new student from somewhere oversea rudely criticise putry style and what not and left putri in a shocked, wondering who the hell is this bitch? and from what hell is she from?

Putri later discover that bitch is his coursemate and has started to play diva diva with her and try so hard to be popular girl at college. but i wonder why the hell that ratu bitch invited an ugly guy to her party? thats soo unbelievable!.arent diva suppose to have high taste in everything esp in men!?

Putri a horibble match maker.

Datin Aina’s gone tru several horrendous,awful dates with putri selections. some are funny some are eww eww. leaving datin aina hopeless in having to find a soulmate to fill his void soul.HUHU

she accidently met ricky at an art gallery, a young quite hensemjugakla painter. they later go out on a dinner date..making datin aina all fresh up and young again. weeeeeeeeeeeee…

Eddy and his cancer patient mum.
Tadaaaaaaa…Eddy finally make a comeback in season 2. He seem to miss someone.who?..later usik his mum for being too dress up for a doctor’s appointment with headscarf and dianalike suit.His mum smile and said why not?

MIA – the homeless wife.

Mia was at the hospital with datin aina for her pregancy checkup. later the bump into eddy and his mum. datin aina shocked to see eddy’s mum and what she doing there in at the hospt. eddy’s mum later confess she got cancer…thus cancer awareness campaigan in gol and gincu begins…they ladies talk n talk and more n more cancer awareness script..la di da…

Eddy talk to Mia and have a heart to heart talk with Mia’s husband decision to marry another  women. Eddy suggest mia to consult his mum.probably she can give tips and advice on how to live with a husband like dat. Mia intertwined between getting a divorce or letting her husband marry that old slut.

 Ikan the clueless loverboy.
Ikan finally made a debut in season 2. He’s reza housemate and best friend. Ikan,Zie,and J met up at the futsal court and later dayang join in with her new fren dino(Zoey Gerak Geri Gasing).They later play futsal while Ikan watch by because his knee injured.

Dayang approaches Ikan at the futsal counter, and have chit chat. asking stuff with double meaning..(oh i  hate this!). she question about Ikan and reza.

ikan later join dayang who seen sitting alone watching the others played. Dayang answered phone calls from her fren asking her out for movie. Ikan ask her if watching movies her favourite pasttime. Dayang cheekily replies his question. Dino soon join them, asking Ikan to show his knee coz he wanted to massage and he said hes good at it. Ikan screamed in pain when dino briefly twist ikan’s knee or something like that. Dino said dont be a sissy. Dino cutely later ask if Ikan want to go out to watch movie with him. Ikan blurly agreed. Dayang cheekily watch them.

Later that night after the movie, Ikan went back home and confusely confess to Reza that he think Dino is attracted to him. Reza laugh and advise ikan to start looking for girls before boys thinking that he might be gay. (uhuh?).

Ikan made an effort to persuade Zie(HUH?), to be his girlfriend and accept him as boyfriend again. Zie laugh and said she accept ikan as her close friend and doesnt have feelings for him. She felt that ikan is a clueless lover and not sensitive to girls feelings. Ikan took that to his heart and merajuk.

 Reza confront zie and ask what happened. zie explained and J said dayang has been suspiciously asking stuff about Ikan and they suspect Dayang have a crush on Ikan!.

 Haikal – The miserable jealous lover

Haikal was wearing only blue towel in his messy room, his babyfat stomach makes me wanna close my eyes.looking for his blue hearts boxer, yelling at his maid and his mum(adibah noor). Adibah noor make a cameo playing haikal’s mum with a weird not so menjadi indonesian accent. EW!. Haikal kept on begging his mum to return to KL. His mum said, he should be lucky to stay in Jakarta for got only know reasons?

Shasha-Irwan

Shasha was seen lipat2 baju and accidently found haikal’s blue hearts boxer when irwan called her in “unknown caller” mode. she smilingly answered irwan’s call laying down on her bed!(OH NO!!)

Shasha later met putri at lim kok wing cafe and putri try her best to korek Shasha’s feeling at irwan.(ughh). Shasha said shes not attracted to irwan, then later she said she unsure, making putri all gediklike.Putri said follow your heart. Shasha mistakenly answer a phone calls as from irwan while its from haikal. turning haikal into sacarstic bastardlike..shasha got fade up(who doesnt?) and hang up.

Shasha got a suprise visit from someone….

verdict: we like this episode. smooth and complete. just a bit distracted with the fact why mia is living with putri ? and the fact that we gonna swallow a cancer PSA in additional to AIDS PSA.oh well…
