i just return from one of the biggest party of 2008. Freedom 2008, as similar to Recharge last year . Well, i got lots to say and comments..dunno how to begin. hehee..

anyway above all, the location is great. although it was not really a beach party. but it was the closest that we can get to the sea and everyone’s security was ensured. securitywise- my gawd..entering the party is as similar to having to pass through a departure gate! really anoying, the body checked, the drug check, and stuff, resulting a long “Q” , well at least they didnt put a narcotic dog at the entrance to sniff on our stuff!.

oh anyway, i arrived in PD in 9th May, however i decided not to go on 9th since judging from the amount of car parked from the roadside clearly shown that theres not so many ppl at the venue eventough i went there at 1am in the morning!. and theres no ulatparking on the 9th may. The next day. on the 10th im so supprised seeing a huge numbers of illegal parking operators and some of this wankers actually just literally took money from us eventough we just park by the road side! (no offence, i do not have issue if this parking pirates are local ppl, but i dont think they are! mostly are indians, chinese with small number of malay otai “ushering” visitors. I dont mind if they prepared a proper parking area as similar to Recharge last year. but what ticken me off is the fact that this pirates actually taking advantage of us who park our car by the road side! And yes, i managed to find a free parking with no money given to the parking pirates.

Tiesto was great, the lighting was great, venue was great. the venue can accomodate modest amount of ravers and satisy our mood by accomodating us with all the necessary elements, lighting, food and stuff. no comment about the price, it was as what i expected to be. however, unlike recharge, freedom are down in terms of food variety and among other things that makes freedom was worst than recharge were:-

1. too many parking pirates who does not own a proper parking place! they are annoying!
2. not enuff food selections to satisy goers despite the event start from 5pm-5am!.
3. lousy freebies, they gave us florescent flute+1 drink + silly hand grip or sumthin. cannot beat recharge -where we were given recharge premium such as tag, cig holders etc. With presale ticket price charged at RM88. i wonder why they cant give us something memorable and decent? probably the money goes to tiesto. Recharge ticket price was RM60+. so you do the math.
4. no “entertainment” pad, as similar to recharge. no game zone or relaxing pad except for the freeze zone. again, probably all the money goes to tiesto or probably lack of sponsorship.

the good part is toilets were sufficient! *they probably learn from recharge event. , except the 4 bad points above, nothing else were bugging me to have a good time! Eventough i leave early at around 2.30am to avoid traffix cramping the small lane.

well at least i had a great time in PD, the first day we stayed at resort in PD. then we decide to stay in Klana Resort Seremban on the 10th. Well, had a great pampering time there. Well if you happen to be one of the freedom ravers, drop some comments k.
