MTV Asia Awards 2008
Finally, MTV asia awards will make it round here in Malaysia. It has been announced in few local music media and of course in www.mtvasia.com the award ceremony will be held at the Arena of Stars in Genting- City of Entertainment, Malaysia on August 2, 2008
read all about it here , Jared Leto will be the host for the award show. Im not sure if there will be a co host. But as of now, Mtv official havent annouce the list of presenters, performers. so we have to wait a lil longer and make sure keep on visiting the mtvasia awards 2008 : Malaysia official website.
However, look how Genting Bhd has optimise this event into profitable business! they already took off 2 august from their online booking! look here!
Having it at genting probably a no cost to the organizer, however, imagine the turn up would be if the ceremony is held at Stadium Putra Bukit Jalil. The stage design can be optimised for much better visual satisfaction and the audience will have more options of exits compared to arena of stars. Well just my two cents.
Right now Im still thinking how and where can i book the room at genting in order to attend the event! driving up and return home after the awards is not an option as i can imagine the massive traffic road blocks and securities up there up on the limited space on top of the hill.
Thinking about it all, just givin me goose bump! How safe and convenient isn’t for us to attend such large scale international event on top of the tiny top genting highlands? Scary!

the events are by invitations only or
we have to win it by entering contests by any of the sponsors.
