last night, zul and I attended prudential takaful bsn career talk. actually we both are taken so much about the product of prudential takaful and delighted the benefits, that weve decided to become an agent. Or at least  help our friends and families to have an insurance to themselves. our goals are to educate our friends and families of the importance of having a reliable profiting insurance that will not only cover our medical expenses but also give us investment returns.

We both decided to become an agent and will go through the process of taking exams and all that to equip ourselves with the skills and knowledge know how. Well after the briefings end. i felt so relieved knowing that ive found my passion in prudential takaful. and so did zul.

hope you pray for our success. :)

at crucial times like this where price of everything goes up, savings is pretty badly needed for everyday people like us. For working people, the last thing they need is another financial burden in having to fork out their savings to medical expenses when they get sick. worst case, if their sickness causing them to stop working.

so can you imagine, how we going to survive with the savings that we have had, slowly drained out. well, worst case, you might going to sell your car, your house and everything in it.

and the daily bills keep on coming and coming. When you cannot work, or in medical leave for a long period how can you survive?

thats why insurance come in the picture. Insurance is our saviour. people in the west, the non malays esp the chinese the first think they do when they bought a house, or started working is they put an insurance to it. so that whenever anything coming, their savings are still there for them. In fact, every time they had a new born babies, what they do is take up insurance policy for their babies and open up an education fund for them.

we malays dont usually do that. For many reasons. some are aware of this and take precautions for the bad days. some just dont, thinking that its all will be taken care of when it happen. Dont ask them how. the normal excuse are “pandai2 lah nanti”, “nanti anak2 aku amik loan ptpn”, etc etc…tragik kan?

Thats why the malays who have that “takpa” mentality are famous with their debt, and worst still they will get old without sufficient money and have to depend on their children to support them. its dangerous.Truth is, when we are old, rotten, smelly and POOR, how many of our children will be willing to take care of us? unless we are rich and have acres of land, houses, our children will fight among them to take turns to take care of you. truth hurt isnt? well its the reality. it has happened to my grandparents on my father and mother side. Luckily my grandparents are really poor, so you can imagine the situation among my uncles and aunties, fighting their attention in order to have their name written in the will.

The best insurance policy to me is insurance(with medical card) + investment. where you got something out of your money you put aside to the insurance company every month for your home or your health.

Thats why im so happy when zul decided to take an insurance for his goodsake. After i explain about this thing to him. He understand and able to comprehand my worries if something bad happen to him. Yes god forbid. But we human need to plan our life for our “what ifs” situation.

My Dad, who is a healthy person. all his life never been admited to hospital for a serious health condition and never involve in a road accident all his life on the road suddenly nearly lost his leg due to accidental’s accident that cause him to fell off his bike. Yes he was admited to hospt for months, and undergo theraphy and stuff for years to get into good shape.Eventhough he lost his job, thank god he didnt lost his leg.

and Thank god, years ago, he took few insurances for him to cover up. So we didnt have to sell our house, and stuff to go through the hard times. My dad is not a very highly educated person. But he able to comprehand the importance of having an insurance policy.Thats why as soon as i finished my study, he told me to list of things of a must do. and one of it is getting an insurance policy.

I took prudential islamic insurance + investment policy and has been with it since. Eventough many -many islamic people try to persuade me to switch to takaful nasional. i didnt bug a bit. I believe and trust the that my investment and insurance plan is according to syariah as what has been stipulated upon. Sentimen buying is not my interest. when i make purchase, i do my own research and make my own summary from my findings.

I just found out that prudential now has it own prudential takaful bsn products. and the plan very interesting that what i had few years ago. Sad. So zul got lucky. at 19 yo, his going to be covered well with only RM100 per month. His hospital allowance is RM200/day. I pay up RM150 but only entitled to RM100 per day.

Thats about it. i didnt tell about the rest of the policy benefit yet. But obviously my investment % is much higher than his, well his 19, he will be able to upgrade his policy in future.

Funny thing was, a year ago i took maybank income perlu insurance policy just to get that extra RM200 perday hospital allowance!. my agent just told me that i can upgrade my policy with the same extra RM30 per month plus, i will able to enjoy other additional benefits + my investment % will increase as well. DARN!.

thank god she told me earlier. so i decided to terminate my maybank income perlu policy at once.

i feel so relief and glad that now zul is protected during his rainy days in future now. Wow. i personally think insurance business is a noble business. i think i would to try to become a prudential takaful agent too soon.i heard so many good things about it, and i think im so glad being part of it and id love to share it with other people too. Especially now.

i was on the lrt ride yesterday when i suddenly over heard a conversation from 2 gay guys behind me. i didnt noticed them becoz they was behind me. But the loud voice from one of the guy’s voice who obviously have a more feminine tone.

One thing that caught my attention was they were obviously indonesian office worker, looking by the way they dress up and in their mid 20s of age. the funny thing was, the softy’s friend was obviously try his best to speak in KL’s bahasa. in short, he try his very best to look as usual KL guy.

But as much as he try to hide it by speaking in a slower tone, his friend who are speaking in high pitch indonesian has obviously causing more attention to his disguise.

Watching that, i quicky recall few people that i know that is try too hard to becoming indonesian, eventough their parents or ancestor are full blooded malay. lol. they have indonesian nickname, speak in indonesian bahasa, try to absorb the indonesian culture to the max and make belief that they are also indonesian or related to indonesia.

or some chinese who becoming more japanese than the average japanese. or some indian who becoming more black than the average black people, or even some malays who becoming more western than the average western people, pickingup up every single ghetto slang, which i bet most of it doesnt reflects their actual lifestyle. Sometime i found it very funny when some local hiphop artist, appearing in videos or tv, with a cap stated “NY” on it, eventough their music is never ever reach NY radio or tv channel, let alone on hitz.tv video rotation. and its actually quite daunting to discuss about their lyrics which usually doesnt make sense and proudly contains pleasing gurls in their bed and large scale parties in their condos, picking up gurls with their ferrari, lambourgini and oh their very very “fabulous” life style as a moneymakers. But hey, if all that is true i dont have any problem about it.

point is,why bother of pretending and becoming someone that your not. If that indonesian guy in the lrt, proud being indonesian and proud of his roots and his language, im sure he dont need to try to hard to sound like average KL guys. Unlike his friend, who is obviously loud and proud of being indonesian. hehee.

We are what we are, malay, indonesian, chinese or indian, be proud of our roots.wherever we go. Embracing our roots will not bring you down, or less attractive to others. in fact it will make you unique, believable and respectful by your peers. Coz honestly, who wanna believe if you say you are part chinese, part eurasian when you look like a plain person whom both of your parents, born, live and never been out of the country and you yourself, have a dark cappuccino skin tone :)

unless you say you were adopted by them.

i cant recall why i decided to watch speedracer. probbaly becoz i saw rain in the trailer. or probably i saw the actor is quite cute..or probably i found the trailer quite thrilling. Probably it was becoz of all that.

damn, the movie producer was smart to cast rain in it eventhough he has a very little scenes! dang! i was cheated.

I dont really recall remembering watching speedracer during my childhood days. I think ive watched it,its not anime right? its an english cartoon if my memory is correct. Or probably  what i remember is wrong. but i dont remember much about this cartoon as much as i like voltron the saviour of the universe, captain power, or xmen.

Actually i assume speedracer is about a loser kid who really into car racing, when he grown up he continue to become a loser, but when he put on his racing suit, he come attractive, smart and chic magnet like that. Then his car has a superpower thingie and can morph into robot and theres many “bad” car and car racers would sabotage the race but the racer keep on winning and winning, and the love section of the story would be the out of his racer suit, he fell in love with this girl, but this girl didnt layan him, but she fell in love with him when he wear his racing suit.so the love story goes on and on….the bad car racer kidnapped her,and he then saved her then she later know that the hot racer is actually a loser guy that she once rejected.

WRONG! WRONG ! WRONG!

untill now i dont know what the movie is about, cause i fell asleep just before the kid grows up.
then i woke up, i think they were in a racing scene on top of the mountain…during this time i saw rain, then i try to focus….i think i fell asleep again, then later on i know the kid realised that his uncle is actually his father or something……IM LOST. and where is the love scenes?? all i knew, i just realised i just wasted RM10 for a movie that i didnt actually watch!!  what a waste of time and money, thank god i watch it at pavillion which is nearby my house. I guess i was blinded by the movie’s very attractive, striking, eye candy color scheme of the movies. the color looks so juicy and attractive to me, but somehow, the story wasnt.

well if you like find this movie interesting, can you tell me why. i probably will watch it again on disney channel, dat is. :)

MILIK KITA…

As what had been printed on utusan malaysia front page today. It show the proud of malaysians after “winning” Batuan Tengah. Hence they quickly risen up symbols/monumen as token of hard evidence that the peace of rock belong in malaysian borders.

Honestly, to me, this “monument” should be planted on Batuan tengah, Batu Putih, or wherever rock/island within malaysians borders ages ago.Batu Putih as the first place placed shouldnt be a issue of who’s who.

Negligence or atitude of “tidak apa”, “tunggu dan lihat”, “let them be” is always been a root cause problem in our culture especially in Malay culture. Sadly the way our goverment manage this country is way too laid back which causes our lost in many sectors.

And evidently we lost Batu Putih due to our own negligence and mismanagement. Isnt ironic and bitter watching the photo?knowing that the particular “structure” should be erected there long time ago.

*sigh.as always, better late than never and with Batu putih’s tragedy, i do hope that our goverment has learnt their lesson!

look at her :) she faced through a hard time of her initial life stage few months ago. now i guess shes healthy. shes my loyal companion now. :)

adopting a pet is so much better than buying one. seriously. the experience you go through in order to have her in good shape is so rewarding. Now i understand why people recommended pet adoption. It makes u feel so good knowing that you do your bit in helping the less fortunate, even if its for an animal.
